Aviation Maintenance Management – The Sky is No Longer the Limit!

The airline industry is known for being extremely competitive.  With airline operators continually striving to reduce costs, the importance of Information Technology (IT) has grown.  Over the course of this presentation, Mxi Technologies will focus on how it has succeeded in the marketplace, through its ability to streamline maintenance activities.   Mxi’s “Maintenix” product does this through the clever use of automation and business support tools within an intelligent maintenance management system.  Advanced technologies such as electronic signatures, automated line planning, and real-time online communication between personnel will be discussed.

Speaker Bio

Les Hine - President, Mxi Technologies
Les Hine is the President of Mxi Technologies, a company specializing in maintenance management software for aviation.  Les holds a Bachelor of Business Administration degree from Wilfrid Laurier University and has a successful background in international business-to-business dealings, having held positions in North America, Europe, and Asia .  Prior to joining Mxi, Les spent 21 years with the Procter and Gamble Company in a marketing capacity, and later as a Vice President and General Manager.  Following that, he worked for Molson , Canada ’s largest brewer, where he held the positions of Chief Marketing Officer and President of their Ontario and Western Canada division.  Les is responsible for Mxi's strategic direction and oversees all operations including Research & Development, Services, Sales, Marketing and Finance & Administration.  Les joined Mxi as President in October, 2006.
