The Ottawa eBusiness Cluster invites you to attend their monthly networking event with guest speaker Scott Annan.  The session will explore Customer Relationship Management (CRM).  CRM is the heart of many sales and service organizations, but has seen little innovation over the last decade.  Still, online CRM companies are earning over $6.5B per year, and this is expected to double by 2012.  Learn how "the new economy" and popular online services like Facebook, Linkedin, Twitter, and the "social web" are transforming the industry and how local company Mercury Grove is taking on big vendors by making CRM more social, personal, and smarter.

Scott Annan is CEO of Mercury Grove, a local company that builds web-based software for multinational brands including Proctor & Gamble, Applebee's, Western Southern, and TempurPedic.  Mercury Grove has developed and launched several small business applications including group collaboration, mass email marketing, online training, and recently, CRM.  Prior to starting Mercury Grove, Scott held a unique technology and marketing management role at Lexmark International.
